Busy Busy Busy

Wow what a few weeks I've had! Can't wait to get back into cardmaking, so many birthdays have been neglected over the recent months! Sorry if that includes you!  Anyhow, here are some of the things I don't think I've shared yet....

My daughter's birthday cake! (yep I made it! First birthday cake I have ever attempted!)

Some luggage tags made using a tutorial over at Skip to my Lou.
 A cute little stocking t-shirt.
A variation on the guitar t-shirt someone asked for. Cute huh!?
And an alternative background colour and personalised Guitar t-shirt.
Thanks for stopping by.

Made It Friday Focus: Rockets

Morning all - today's Friday Focus is on Rockets.  Here is my Blast Off t-shirt - I've just been requested to make this on Navy with a name instead of the words Blast Off so it will be fun to see how that will turn out.

I found too many beautiful and fun things to narrow it down to six today so here we have my top 9!
I just know it would make their day if you took some time to stop by some of these shops!  Have a great day!

Happy little bags!

Been busy making some cute little bags for my daughter's birthday party this weekend.  The kids will get to decorate the cream strip with their name using fabric pens!  Then they'll use them for a treasure hunt to put their finds in and that is then their loot bag!  I've seen various tutorials on the web for little bags and I suppose this is just an amalgamation of those here, I made my own pattern to suit the measurements I needed.
 I know I'm a complete nut - I lined them!!!
As it is a Fairy Tea Party I figured they should play Fairy Musical Toadstools (Musical Bumps/Chairs).
Have a good day, I'm off to carry on making stuff for the market this saturday!  Remember to check back tomorrow for another Friday Focus.

Made It Friday Focus: Ballerina

Welcome to another Made It Friday Focus.  Today I'm focussing on my Ballerina t-shirts.

And now let's take a look at what other delightful ballerina items are available on Made it!!

Fancy Dress Magnetic Clothes set: Amaria's Paperwork
Pretty Baby Ballerina Shoes: Nesian Kids
Ballet Shoes Hairclip: Pocket Full of Pretty
Ballerina Hairbands: Dion's Buttons
Ballerina Pendant: Iszle
Nina Ballerina Knitted Mouse: Sam and Charlie (Sold! but will be relisted soon!)

One Card and Two Disasters!

Hi there, one card to share today.

And now onto the disasters! First I burnt my arm cooking roast lamb yesterday, hot oil spilled over my wrist! Ouch.

And second I finished a new design for a friend that I was super happy with, then realised it had a tiny mark on so thought I'd wash it before handing it over.  And I was so glad I did, as I must have used the wrong type of ric rac! I must have used a craft purpose one and not a sewing washable one as the colour ran! And wrecked the beautiful onesie! I was sooooo gutted!

Anyhow now I have the right ric rac and plan to test that one first before ruining another!  Hope my week improves soon!!

Birthdays!

Just a quick post as I am busy sewing! But wanted to share some cards I made yesterday.

The first one uses the sketch at the Allsorts Challenge Blog

I treated myself to some copics recently, just skin and hair colours to start with, but I am loving the results and they are lovely to colour with! They also seem to handle digi stamps better than the Stampin Up markers with less/no colour run of the image lines.

This is the invite to my daughter's birthday party. Had to make a few of these!

Thanks for looking! Back to the sewing machine for me!

New Christmas Digital Images & Freebies

These are all now FREE!! Click on the Freebies link above!

Hello all - today I'm introducing my new range of Christmas images and sentiments.  They'll be added to the tab at the top of the page: here. You can buy them easily through paypal.  There are four images and heaps of sentiments (I got a bit carried away!). The images are available separately for $2 each and the sentiments come in a set for $2.  Or you can buy the lot for $8 saving $2!  So without further ado here they are:

I had all these grand plans to make a set of cards with them in time for today, but with the market yesterday and my daughter's birthday in the week, life just took over instead.  So instead I have one card made with Holly, the freebie holly border and a sentiment, to share.  You can see more detailed pictures and the inside of it here.

A couple of my online buddies have had some fun introducing them too.  Here is a wonderful picture Lisa has made using the Singing Angel.  You can check out more pictures of it here.

And I know Arielle has been busy with the images despite being on vacation this weekend! Make sure to check out her blog for goodies later!

And finally the freebies! I have a little holly border and a sentiment for you today.  Enjoy!

Obviously they can be resized and recoloured in Word, Publisher or PhotoShop.  Oh and don't forget I'm having a giveaway here.

Naughty or Nice!?

Hi there - I made this card using the challenge over at Just Us Girls which was to make a gate fold card.  I used one of my new digital images: Holly and two of my sentiments and even the little freebie holly border.  You can read more about them here. And can buy them here (ok enough of a plug! onto the card!)

I haven't made a gate fold for ages! My first attempt ended in tears (it was getting late! clearly I couldn't read the ruler properly!)

Not sure if you can see it or not, but I used dimensional paint for the fluffy white bits! And a bit of red kindyglitz for the holly berries on the hat and shoes.

I'm also entering this into the following challenges:
Have a great day! Oh and remember I'm having a giveaway here.

Work in Progress & a Bloggaversary Giveaway

Hello - I'm busy busy busy working on orders and prepping for the market on Saturday!  The market will be on Saturday afternoon/evening 3.30pm to 6.30pm at the Millars Well School in Karratha.  For local girls, you might be interested to know that I have had a big clear out of my craft room and am consequently selling lots of scrapbooking supplies.  Items include Prima flowers; heaps of chipboard; Rub ons; stickers; embellishments etc. Some is even marked up as 'FREE!'

Here are some of the things I'm working on today!

And here are some new products for the market.

A pretty rainbow hairband.

And some fun beanbag stacks with game cards tucked inside already packed and ready to go!

Now onto the Giveaway.  I realised that it was one year of blogging for me last week!  So thought I'd have a little giveaway.  Leave me a comment to be in with a chance of winning this wonderful Crafting Calendar for 2011.

It looks fantastic and has a project for every month, complete with pattern pieces apparantly!
And yes I will post internationally.  Leave me a comment telling me why you blog if you do and why you don't if you don't! Tell others if you want so they can join in the fun.  If you don't already follow, then you might want to so you can see if you're the winner or not! I'll announce a winner next week!

Double take

I liked the scooter card so much that I made another one, but with different colours!  I changed it up a bit, but still used the Mojo sketch.  The colours are from the 4 crafty chicks challenge.

I added a bit of dimensional magic (glossy accents) to the heart.

Thanks for looking - have a great day!

Made It Friday Focus: Christmas Trees!

Yes if it has managed to escape your notice, Christmas is coming!!!  I have two Christmas Tree Designs going into the shop today.  Either can be made on boy or girl t-shirts.  Made it is beginning to stack up nicely with Christmas themed items.

Here are my first two.  They'll be more coming!  The first is a girls aqua t-shirt with HO HO HO! on. And the second is a simpler design on a boys green t-shirt.

And to go along nicely with them I have found these wonderful Christmas tree designs on Made it.  Enjoy!

Scooting over for Mojo Monday & EBTKS

Just a quickie today.  I used the sketch at Mojo Monday, I rotated it though.  And the colours are from Everything But the Kitchen Sink {I sneakily added a touch of red!}.  I made the quote on my PC.

There is quite alot of dimension due to the ruffled ribbon.

Have a great day!
